The purpose of the work is to evaluate the protective polymer coating in the underroof space of the Shelter object as of 2019 year and to forecast its condition for the next year. Research and forecasting methods - mathematical statistical analysis of results of monitoring the activity of radioactive emissions from the Shelter object, the level of radioactive contamination and fallout at established control points, the concentration of radioactive aerosols at ground layer of air at the industrial site of the Shelter object, evaluation of protective properties on the area of destroyed coating in accordance with GOST 9.407-84 and determination of the thickness of coating on selected samples-witnesses in the laboratory. The results of the work will be used for decision-making on timing of irrigation with the protective coating of inter-buttress surfaces and surfaces of the "collapsed part" in the underroof space of the "Shelter" object, when detecting processes of destruction of protective coating by processes of deflation, which lead to an increase in the activity of radioactive aerosols in and out of the Shelter object.
