The main technical requirements for ensuring the bullet resistance of the An-178 glazing are defined. It was agreed with the Antonov State Enterprise that the level of protection of the glazing of the cab should meet the class of durability of SK3 DSTU4546: 2006 and additional requirements in extreme conditions of operation. Constructions have been developed, experimental and industrial technologies have been worked out, and the use of witness-samples has been performed to control the strength of the load-bearing glass elements according to the requirements. A set of samples of all types of armored units was manufactured and a complex of their ballistic tests was performed according to the requirements of the glass bullet resistance classes CK2 ... CK6 DSTU4546: 2006. A pilot industrial windshield TSK 008UOB have been manufactured according to the proven technology at the factory of aviation glass LLC "Spetstekhsklo A" to control the optical performance of the modified glazing in the double-glazed window with the serial block TSK 008U. The work of stage 2019 of “IPMits-2019/1” have been completed in full. A report on the working out of scientific work has prepared and adopted in the NAS of Ukraine.
