The effectiveness of ultrasonic waves in removing the calcium deposits on the soft tissue has been proved. Predictors for the safe use of ultrasonic aortic valve decalcification, indications and contraindications for this type of intervention have been defined. The technique of formation of a new aortic valve from autopericardial tissue after glutaraldehyde fixation has been demonstrated. The advantages of minimal access aortic valve repair have been substantiated; the scientific data on the effect of ultrasonic waves on the removal of depositions of calcium salts in the aortic valve cusps have been supplemented.
