F. Chebotarev Institute of Gerontology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2 Applied course feeding of Quartin 3 times a week for 2 weeks at the dose of 10 mg/kg per active substance one week after irradiation. The agonist- and insulin-dependent responses of vessels isolated in experimental animals (fragments of the thoracic aorta and mesenteric artery) were investigated in experiments with mechanographic recording of contractile reactions. Results: A single X-ray irradiation (7 Gy) of rats caused a disturbance in the regulation of vascular contractility, which occurred under the condition of excess production and deposition of NO in the endothelium and perivascular adipose tissue. Course administration of quercetin to irradiated rats led to a partial normalization of contractile and dilatory vascular responses. The therapeutic effect of quercetin was manifested by the reduction of NO accumulation in the endothelium and perivascular adipose tissue. The research results indicate the actuality of further finding a means of preventing the occurrence of negative radio-induced metabolic disorders, which may be promising for their prophylactic use.  Product Description popup.authors Parshikov Olexander V Povh Nina N Utko Nataliia O Skrimbal Olexander M popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
