Ya.S. Pidstryhаchа NAN Ukrаiny popup.description2 The linear part of a main gas pipeline contains sections which connect the neighboring compressor stations. Each section is considered as a linear structure consisting of linear and node elements. The linear elements represent the pipeline segments connecting the neighboring line valves. The node elements represent the line valves and a short pipeline segments in which cracks were detected with the use of the inline inspection of the pipeline. A structure of the system for integrity controlling of the linear part which was suggested includes the subsystems for integrity controlling of each linear and node elements. Methods and algorithms for linear and node element integrity controlling were developed. The method for linear elements is based on leakage detecting with the use of the method of flow parameters monitoring in control points and real time numerical modeling of the flow in the pipeline. For the node elements two different methods were suggested. One of them is based on the analysis of parameters the acoustic emission waves, caused by gas leakage through a hole in the pipe wall. Another one is based on the analysis of parameters the acoustic emission waves, caused by growing cracks. This method enables to monitor the residual resource of the pipeline components containing pipeline wall defects, which have been detected by the inline inspection, to prevent the pipeline depressurization. Realization of this method needs determination the stress components in cracks vicinities.
