A drop in the reflection coefficient of some stainless steel mirrors (collector probes) located between the magnetic field coils 6 and 7 has been detected. Samples exhibited "at the bottom" of the camera (90 ° poloidal angle) showed a rather thick precipitate, which caused the reflection coefficient to drop significantly, especially in near UV.
