For the first time in the field of book research there is a study at the level of one book - the first edition of I. The study of multiethnic character of book-publishing activities of public organizations in Galicia until 1939 as a synthesis of cultures (280 titles collected) was carried out in the form of a data bank. In the annotated catalog of Ukrainian publishing houses and publishing series in Galicia (1914-1939), 205 titles of publishing houses and publishing series were registered on the basis of printed and archival materials, 25 biographies of editorial staff, 309 titles of literature on publishing houses were compiled.
