Testing of software and technological tools of information-analytical system was developed and carried out in experimental mode, information databases of statistical and analytical indicators for the 2014/2015 - 2018/2019 academic years were created, calculations of educational indicators were carried out for comparative analysis of the state of secondary education in the state and regional levels. In the course of the research a comparative analysis of indicators of activity of general secondary education institutions in urban and rural areas, analysis of the effectiveness of the use of budget funds for their functioning, analysis of trends in the organization of students' education in the natural-mathematical profile and analysis of the provision of teachers teaching certain subjects in primary and senior school. The necessity and calculation of the estimated values of educational indicators are substantiated and proved.
