The subject of research is the normalization and standardization of requirements for funds civil protection and fire safety of products in the conditions of adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to the legislation of the European Union and the requirements of the World Trade Organization. The purpose of the job is to reduce the risks associated with civil protection and the risk of fire from products by improving the technical system regulation. The research method is analytical (analysis of regulations, standards and information on the Internet). According to the results of the research, the following was prepared: 1) proposals for improvement of normative legal acts in the field of technical regulation regarding civil protection and fire safety products; 2) lists of international, European and national standards for civil protection and fire safety products; 3) lists of standards, compliance with which gives the presumption of conformity of civil protection means with the requirements of technical regulations; 4) a draft list of national standards, the conformity of which gives the presumption of conformity with the requirements of the draft Technical Regulation of civil protection means; 5) proposals for a program of work on national standardization on civil protection and fire safety products. The scientific novelty of the scientific results obtained is justified conformity assessment procedures for civil protection technical systems. The results of the research will be used by the authorities and units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, others interested central bodies of executive power, technical standardization committees, conformity assessment bodies, entities business activity.
