Leukocoria and strabismus were found to be the most common first outward signs of retinoblastoma 72 % and 30 %, respectively, which in most cases indicate advanced T3-T4 stages of the disease. Spectral optical coherence tomography reveals vital signs of invasion of the RB into the optic nerve and choroide unlike current methods of ultrasound scanning and MRI. It was found that retinoblastomas of increased risk of tumor dissemination accounted 52.9% of the total number of primary enucleations, 64,4% of which showed invasion into the optic nerve at different levels, 53,3% - in choroid, 51.1% - combinrd invasion. The obtained facts indicate the necessity for primary enucleation. The method of enucleation of eyes with retinoblastoma of increased risk of dissemination using high-frequency electric current in the mode of "welding" and "cutting"combination, provides the length of destruction of the optic nerve up to 4 mm on both sides from the resection site with simultaneous welding of the membranes (Patent). Methods of residual and recurrent RB treatment - combination of local intravitreal chemotherapy with sequential laser coagulation and transpupillary thermotherapy allow to enhance the effect of tumor destruction (PU № 133456). The use of combined intravitreal chemotherapy with focal laser therapy for the RB recurrences treatment allowed to achieve complete regression of the tumor with eyeball preservation in 82.6% of cases.A method of the true area of conjunctival melanocytic nevus determining in children and teenagers using the fluorescent angiography (Patent) allows to improve the quality of pre-operative diagnostics by the possibility of objectification of the data about the lesion spreading and it’s feeding vessels. The developed method of stage fractional dosed cryodestruction is highly effective in the treatment of conjunctival nevi in pediatric patients as it allows to achieve complete tumor resorption in all cases of any localization Product Description popup.authors Bobrova Nadiya F.
