The obtained data are not reliable, so a statistically significant confirmation of the data requires an increase of the study group. Accelerated topographically oriented corneal crosslinking with observation during 24 months allows to stabilize the progression of keratoconus, to increase the corrected visual acuity in 85%. During the recurrence of herpetic keratitis (HK), the level of proinflammatory cytokine TNF-α and anti-inflammatory cytokines Il-10 and Il-4 is increased and the level of expression of the absolute and relative number of ICAM-1, intercellular adhesion molecules is increased. The direct correlation between the level of ICAM-1 and the level of blood flow of the eye with HK was found for the first time. All patients with HK have accentuated characters, 81.4% of accentuations are mixed with dominant expressiveness of emotional accentuation. High efficiency of application of various methods of amniotic membrane transplantation in inflammatory and dystrophic pathology of the cornea was proved, in 95.4% a positive effect was obtained. The use of vitrectomy at exogenous post-traumatic and postoperative endophthalmitis allows to keep an eye in 97% and to increase visual functions in 82.8% of patients. Obtained morphometric data, namely retinal thickening, reduction of the thickness of the vascular sheath, indicate the need for neuroprotective, anti-ischemic therapy in these patients. An experiment on the alkaline corneal burn model was found that subconjunctival administration of prolonged corticosteroid reduced the inflammatory response and the degree of corneal edema, but at the same time inhibited corneal epithelialization, which required the use of regenerative therapy.
