The object of the study is the technology of fuel briquettes manufacturing from sapropel and plant raw materials, as well as equipment for its realization. The subject of the study - flax heap, flax stems, flax sheave, sapropel, separation process and mixing process of bulk raw materials. The aim of the scientific research is to obtain flax raw materials with specified properties on the proposed technological equipment for the developed technology of fuel briquettes manufacturing. Research methods - the tasks were solved with modern methods of theoretical and experimental research. Theoretical studies were based on mathematical modeling of technological processes using the basic provisions of theoretical mechanics, mechanics of plant materials, theories of separation process and mixing process of bulk raw materials. Experimental studies were conducted using industry-specific and developed techniques on specially designed and manufactured equipment and devices. Statistical processing of the experimental data was performed using mathematical statistics and software MathCAD 14 and Microsoft Office Excel 2007. The current state of manufacturing of fuel pellets and briquettes is analyzed in the report; the technology and equipment for the fuel briquettes manufacturing from sapropel and plant raw materials were developed in the study; also the theoretical studies of the separation process and mixing process of bulk raw materials are presented in the report; the processes of flax heap separation and drying of flax sheave, as well as the physical and mechanical properties of flax raw materials were experimentally studied in the research.
