The possibility of identifying certain types of aerosol particles of anthropogenic genesis by technological emissions of individual links in metallurgical industries was considered and the main signs of their detection were identified. On the basis of the obtained results, recommendations for improving the ecological status of the atmospheric environment of cities with developed industry were prepared.
