The conducted analysis showed that the use of IT technologies is a promising direction for the development of event-tourism activities in the Kharkiv region. The effectiveness of event tourism development in the region through the organization of exhibition activities using IT technologies is determined. It is suggested to organize a virtual exhibition stand (BBC) during such events in the traditional format. This approach in the exhibition activities will promote the development of event tourism in the region by increasing the number of exhibitors. The Air Force will also provide the opportunity to create a virtual business card for the Kharkiv region and a communicative business platform. Recommendations on improvement of the state regional policy on development of exhibition activity in the aspect of the development of event tourism with the use of Internet technologies have been developed Object of study - processes of providing tourist services in the event sphere when using IT technologies. The subject of the research is the state regulation of the cluster of services in the field of event-tourism activity using IT technologies. The scientific novelty of the work is as follows: for the first time a comprehensive approach with the use of IT technology in the organization of events of tourist activity was proposed, the priority directions of event tourism in the Kharkiv region were further developed.
