The purpose of the work is to adjust the chemical composition and optimize the modes of heat treatment of previously developed stamped steel with adjustable austenitic transformation during operation (RAPE), to achieve an increased complex of physical and mechanical properties and increase the service life of the stamping tool. The modes of heat treatment of RAPE steel (4X3H5M3F, 4X4H5M4F2, 5X4H4M3F2) were used in the work.The phase-structural condition and properties of RAPE steel in cast state and heat treatment were investigated. The dependence between structure and properties on the heat treatment modes (annealing, tempering, tempering) was determined. The optimum modes of heat treatment of the test steel (annealing, tempering, tempering) for the production of die tool dies have been developed. Experimental and industrial tests of die tools were carried out in the process of hot plastic deformation operation: copper-nickel alloy grades MNZh 5-1 and MNZhMts 30-1-1 at temperatures 920-960 ° C, copper grades M1 at temperatures 550-620 ° C, aluminum alloy grade AL9 (AK7h) at temperatures of 450-500 ° C. Comparative characteristics of physical and mechanical and service properties of RAPE steel with grades of 4X5MF1C, 3X3M3F and 3X2V8F steels were carried out in the work.
