With a slight infection with the larvae of toxocariasis, hyperactivation of the T-cells of the immune system was observed, which ensures the rapid removal of pathogens from the body, and makes it impossible to damage DNA of spermatozoa. With significant larval infection with toxocar, immunosuppression was observed, contributing to pathogenic persistence and leading to DNA fragmentation of spermatozoa. The trigger mechanism for stimulation of the Th2 immune response is the components of the shell of the parasite larvae, and the attachment of the Th1 immune response contributes to the isolation of the parasite and leads to the formation of a chronic process.
