Lashkaryov Institute of semiconductor physics popup.description2 Scientific report of the second stage "Production of experimental samples and study of their physical and mechanical properties. Preparation of the interim report »: 21 pages, 6 figures, 1 table, 22 references. Reasons for the work - R&D "Creation and implementation of modern nanocrystalline materials with low coefficient of thermal expansion for the production of radio-transparent parts of special machinery and optical systems" is performed by contract dated 11.03.2019 TD. 21/12 according to the Target Research Program of the NAS of Ukraine "Semiconductor Materials, Technologies and Sensors for Technical Diagnostic, Control and Control Systems" for 2018-2020 Purpose of work: development of new composition and technological scheme of manufacturing of new glass-crystal material. Promising rocket speed should be up to 5M. The materials of such parts should have a low coefficient of thermal expansion and high durability, which makes the work relevant.Together with the Institute of Electric Welding E.O. Paton NAS of Ukraine developed a method of hardening the surface layer of existing quartz or glass ceramics plasma-arc coating with thickness of 400-450 μm. Zinc oxide stabilized with yttrium oxide was used as the coating. A new technological scheme and composition of two nanocrystalline materials have been developed, one based on the KS-418 sital and the other based on zirconium stabilized with yttrium, in which the binder is quartz ceramics. The new material has higher physical and mechanical properties than the AC-418 ceramics currently used. The technological researches were carried out on the basis and with the participation of the specialists of the enterprise "Kvarsit". The main result of the work is development of a new technological scheme and composition of two nanocrystalline materials. Research methods - general scientific physical methods, methods of systematic and comparative analysis. Keywords: nanocrystalline materials, glass ceramics, zirconium oxide.
