The results of the performed researches will allow to choose materials for extensions of worn surfaces and optimum modes of electro-spark extensions or strengthening of conjugate surfaces of parts.Developed recommendations for their technical implementation are inexpensive and do not require highly qualified contractors. In addition to the restoration of parts, the development can be used to make new parts with the required physical and technical properties of the connected surfaces. The peculiarities of the formation of the doped layer when using a copper electrode for electro spark processing are considered. It is shown that electriс-spark alloying with a copper electrode is technologically suitable for obtaining layers of the required thickness. The structure of surface layers treated by the method of electriс-spark alloying is investigated.
