Description

The conditions and prospects of relations between Ukraine and the countries of the European continent are analyzed. The main directions of theoretical reflection of this problem are highlighted. It is substantiated the idea of the importance of basic research of historical preconditions, social traditions and cultural and civilizational determinants for the formation of productive relations between Ukraine and the leading countries of the European continent. There were organized and systematized the knowledge about the universal laws of evolution of the world-historical process, the peculiarities of socio-political and socio-economic development of the countries of the European continent, and the specifics of overcoming crisis phenomena and solving complex problems of society transformation in the conditions of globalization. The ancient gravity of Ukraine's status as an influential international actor and important factor in the Eastern European region has been proved, the European cultural and civilizational identity of the Ukrainian people has been determined, numerous myths of hostile propaganda about its "unhistority" have been refuted.
