The list of indicators as a tool for measuring the effectiveness of the implementation the conceptual provisions of the New Ukrainian School is developed. Methodical approaches to the use of the developed indicators have been developed in order to assess the level of teacher preparation for work in the context of reforming general secondary education. In order to form groups of indicators of the state of implementation of the NUS reform, three monitoring studies were conducted, in particular: two stages of monitoring the process of implementation of new approaches to learning, a nationwide study of the process of implementation of the New Ukrainian School Concept in institutions of general secondary education, research on readiness to work implementation of the concept of the New Ukrainian School.
