The object of study is the steady development of the communications and informatics industry. The purpose of the work is to substantiate measures for reforming the financial system of Ukraine and taking into account the transformation processes caused by European integration. The purpose of the study is to summarize and develop the theoretical and methodological basis, to develop organizational and practical recommendations on the formation and implementation of financial policy of Ukraine in the context of European integration. The transformational processes of Ukraine's financial system and their rapid response to dynamic changes in the environment in the context of European integration are pushing for the development of methodological approaches to the formulation and implementation of this policy in order to obtain positive results from these changes in the country's economy and in society. Generalization of theoretical and methodological approaches to determining the nature, role and dialectical relationships of methodological approaches to the formation of the financial system of the state should be based on the theoretical basis of the essence of the components of this system, its types and methods and evaluation of its effectiveness. This is due to the identification of trends in the financial system of the country. The proposed methods of determining the effectiveness of the components of the financial system and the well-being of its population allow to identify priority areas for improvement of the financial system of Ukraine, to carry out modeling of the financial system with the legislation of the European Community, to propose approaches to forecasting individual modifications of the level of financial system elements -economic development of the country.
