Purpose: to establish the presence (absence) of traces and remains of archaeological heritage at the site of excavation work to streamline the inner courtyard of the former Dominican monastery in town Pidkaminʼ, archaeological survey of earthworks to prevent the destruction of identified objects of archaeological heritage. Research methods: processing of archival and bibliographic materials; trenching the territory of the inner courtyard of the monastery; archeological supervision, fixation and research of archeology objects. According to the results of the exploration in the former monastery of the Dominicans (the total area of the 7 bores and the exploration trench is 110 m2), a cemetery of the 16th-16th centuries was discovered during the supervision of earthworks (the area of supervision about 1600 m2). in the eastern part of the courtyard. 36 human burials were recorded and investigated, as well as 20 stone tombstones, in whole or in part damaged, were discovered and moved. Graphic and photographic fixation of the objects of study is done. A chamber study of the obtained archaeological materials was made. Correction of the reconstruction project was elaborated and agreed with the customer in terms of increasing the depth of soil selection marks, which made it possible to avoid the destruction of burials in the ancient cemetery.
