The effective coefficient of the transverse thermal conductivity of the heterogeneous nanostructure is obtained, and the size effect in the thermal conductivity of such structures is found. The results of the microscopic approach are compared with a simpler phenomenological two-temperature approximation. The formulation of thermodynamics and stability conditions for binary solid solutions taking into account the external pressure and compressibility is proposed. The behavior of the solid solution near the temperature at which the system loses the spatially uniform stability is considered. A generalization of the temperature dependence of the thermodynamic potential is proposed, which leads to the observed values of critical indices and is consistent with the fluctuation theory of phase transitions.
