The main tasks of the 4th stage of work on the topic were as follows: - collection and analysis of published and stock materials on the topic of scientific work; preparation and carrying out of expeditionary works on the sites of the Black Sea reservoirs, this year - in the water area of ​​Fr. Sasyk, for the purpose of sampling of sediments, conducting complex. studies of their material composition, in particular granulometric and chemical; - determination of the influence on the conditions of accumulation of material-genetic types of bottom sediments, promising for the production of effective therapeutic agents, geodynamic processes extracted in the contact zone of land and marine geo-ecosystems in the northwestern Black Sea; - identification of geostructural and tectonic features of the study area as a prerequisite for the formation of peloids in the Northwest shelf of the Black Sea and in the Black Sea reservoirs. Samples of the most promising sludge deposits (peloids), which could in the future become a natural basis for the production of effective therapeutic and cosmetic products, were selected in the waters of the geo-ecosystem of the lake. Sasik and their granulometric and chemical compositions were further studied using a Mastersizer 2000 laser sedimentograph with a Hydro S liquid dispersion module (Malvern Instruments, UK). The software for managing the analysis and processing of results produced a table of contents of individual fractions, a particle size distribution curve and a cumulative curve.
