The object of the research is the process of formation of professional and pedagogical competence of future teachers of higher agricultural educational institutions. The subject of the study is the organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional and pedagogical competence of future teachers of higher agricultural educational institutions. The purpose of the study is to determine, theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of organizational and pedagogical conditions of formation of professional and pedagogical competence of future teachers of higher agricultural educational institutions. Research methods: - general scientific: study, analysis, systematization, comparison and generalization of scientific literature on the problem of research; - empirical: diagnostic (questioning, ranking, conversations); observational (pedagogical observation, self-observation); predictive (modeling of information culture formation system, expert evaluation of the obtained data); - experimental: diagnosing, ascertaining, forming stages of pedagogical experiment; analysis of advanced and mass pedagogical experience, analysis of the results of the activity of innovators; - Statistical processing of experimental data: Finding out the effectiveness of developed pedagogical technology. It was established that at all stages of the development of higher education pedagogy this problem was the focus of attention of the pedagogical community and state authorities. It is determined that among the scientists there is no clear interpretation of the definitions of such concepts as "professional competence", "pedagogical skill", "pedagogical competence", "didactic competence".
