A research object is the sports preparation system of the top athletes of national team of Ukraine. Methods: pedagogical methods: analysis of scientific data, competitions protocols, planning and report documents, pedagogical supervisions etc., biomedical methods: ergospyrometry: electrocardiography, impedance cardiography, rheoencephalography, rheovasography, heart rate variability, pulsometry, electromyography, spyrometry, body composition analysis, biochemical methods: lactate, urea, erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, glucose, creatinine, albumin determination, psychophysiological methods: biomechanical and statistical method. Results. It has been conducted analysis of the Ukrainian athletes competitions results on world and Europe cups in 2019 in the strategic types of sports and prospects of their further performances on ХХХІІ Olympic games in Tokyo (Japan) are determined; practical recommendations on the functional status of the athletes of the national teams of Ukraine are provided; methodical recommendations on adaptation to the terms of Tokyo (Japan) are developed.
