The article of research is functioning of the logistic system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An aim of work is forming of the effective logistic system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Research methods are an analysis of leading countries of the world in relation to functioning of the logistic system and experience of reformation of the logistic system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the use of methods of analysis, synthesis, estimation and analysis, critical path and mathematical design method. The analysis of the existent logistic system of leading countries of NATO and Armed Forces of Ukraine that is created on this time on all levels of military management is conducted. Terms and factors that influence on efficiency of functioning of the logistic system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during realization of the stages of her forming after experience of ÀÒÎ and ÎÎÑ are certain. An analysis is conducted and the ways of improving the existing methodological apparatus for evaluating the effectiveness of the logistics system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are determined. It is advisable to use the materials of the report to analyze the logistics system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the leading NATO countries, the methodological apparatus for assessing the effectiveness of the logistics system, as well as to develop approaches to the prospective areas of development of the logistics system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
