Purpose of the work – to develop «Projects of degassing of excavation sections of layers C5 and C11 of the Mine named after SPACE HEROES Production Structural Division Mine of "SPACE HEROES MANAGEMENT" of PJSC «DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA». Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, methods of mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation for the mining of the excavation sections of the layers C5 and C11 of the mine named after them was analyzed of the Mine named after SPACE HEROES Production Structural Division Mine of "SPACE HEROES MANAGEMENT" of PJSC «DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA» and research of sources of methane release in excavation sites. The calculation of the expected methane release within the excavation sites, the required degassing efficiency, the parameters and the mode of degassing of the roof of the wells, the required diameters of the gas pipeline were performed. The project of construction of the degassing system for the Mine named after SPACE HEROES Production Structural Division Mine of "SPACE HEROES MANAGEMENT" of PJSC «DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA» taking into account the prospect of development of mining works in Morozovsky block № 3 along the C11 layer by 2030 was developed. A project for construction of a degassing system with the prospect of development of mining operations in the east wing along the C5 layer by 2030 has been developed.
