Detailed description of the state of the endothelial function of the intracranial arteries in patients with arterial hypertension has been carried out, which will allow the introducingof new means of diagnosing the disease associated with stenotic lesions of the main and peripheral arteries, and diagnosing it at an earlier stage. The metabolic, lipid, and immunological status of patients with cardiovascular diseases at different stages of the cardiovascular continuum was comprehensively assessed. The role of endothelial function and passive-elastic properties of arteries in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases was evaluated;the relationship between the degree of cerebral perfusion disorders, remodeling of arteries and endothelial function was studied, the conditions for the realization of the negative influence of endothelial-dependent vasodilation of arteries on the regional circulationwere determined. An economically sound algorithm for the verification of coronary heart disease in patients after ischemic stroke has been developed and treatment regimens for patients with cardio-cerebral pathology have been proposed.
