The purpose of the work is to develop a methodology for determining the market value of intellectual property objects, which outlines the principles, methodological approaches, procedures and various reference material related to conducting economic research on the use of intellectual property rights (IPR). Theoretical and practical results - This R&D report attempts to systematize economic research related to determining the market value of OIV objects; identified different categories of issues to be considered by forensic experts in expert studies of different types of OIs; identified problems related to economic research; a preliminary analysis of the possible nature of the required estimated values, which reflect the quantitative results of economic research, was performed; for each type of OIV the level of information and methodological support is given. The novelty of the obtained results is that, by the nature and content of the issues considered, the work is an exploration of the methodological basis for assessing the competitiveness of OIV; an organizational model that reflects the conditions for the implementation of the process of creating and exercising rights to OIV; the economic consequences of a violation of the rights to OIV; the amount of material damage from unlawful acts; economic consequences of the violation of rights, based on specific situations, depending on different forecasts of development of consequences.
