It was determined that in the mucous membrane of the oral cavity of rats with diabetes mellitus, an isoformal imbalance of the NOS enzyme is formed, lower initial values of the content and concentration of nNOS and eNOS are noted, but much higher is iNOS against the background of a high initial level of nitrites, the concentration of which increases after tooth extraction only on the seventh day, remaining constant up to 14 days. The mechanisms and functional manifestations of platelet hemostasis disorders in acute ischemic stroke were determined for the first time, platelet response to various agonists was analyzed, and the role of intracellular signaling systems in impairment of platelet functional state was studied. Hypertensive rats of the SHR line are characterized by impaired carbohydrate, lipid homeostasis, the formation of insulin resistance characteristic of type 2 diabetes mellitus. In SHR rats, this is accompanied by remodeling of the insular apparatus of the pancreas with the dominance of small and medium islets, by decrease of the number of pancreatic islets and by decrease of the number of beta cells, moderate beta-cell hypertrophy and an increase of insulin concentration in them are observed. Herewith, due to a decrease of the endocrinocytespool, the specific insulin content in these rats is approximately 3 times lower than in normotensive Wistarrats. Pancreatic islets of normoglycemic hypertensive SHR rats are characterized by an increase of the pool of alpha endocrinocytes.
