The purpose of the work is to calculate the probable radius of falling of rock fragments from a rock slope over 30 m high. Research method - analytical calculations based on the created physical and mathematical model of rolling or sliding of rock fragments over the simple or complex slope profiles. The study and analytical calculations revealed thatin terms of the existing geometric parameters of the ledges, groups of quarry ledges of the №4 PJSC "TsGOK", the rate of fall of rock fragments on the horizons of transport berms is expected within 0 ÷ 34 m / s, kinetic energy 0 ÷ 12000 kJ, and the value of the radius of their spread can be expected in the range from 1.5 to 27.2 m, depending on the height of the slope, its profile, angle and the expected values ​​of the coefficients of rolling friction and sliding pieces of rock on the slope surface.
