The purpose of the study is to develop theoretical provisions and practical recommendations for the formation of basic approaches to the development of the Concept of development of parking space in Kharkiv. Research methods – elements of economic and statistical methods of collecting and processing information: sample surveys, averages, relative values; induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, systems analysis, generalization, comparison, survey, financial analysis and other methods of cognition of economic phenomena, objects and processes. The processing of quantitative information obtained during the research was carried out using Microsoft Office Excel, Google-form and other software. Based on the results of research, including analysis of the current parking system of vehicles in the city of Kharkiv, parking conditions in the cities of Ukraine and European experience, a draft Concept for the development of parking space in Kharkiv. It is aimed at solving the problem of providing the population of the city and users of transport infrastructure with parking services in sufficient quantity and quality. Implementation of the Concept should affect the improvement of parking in Kharkiv, improve the organization of traffic, as well as reduce the load on the city road network, inner and neighborhood areas, increase traffic safety, ensure the spatial development of the city.
