The report contains information on the spatial structure and functional zoning of the biosphere reserve, descriptions of research plots and the status of its abiotic environment. The basic outcomes of the observations on chemical composition of atmospheric precipitation, as well as snow cover in the Carpathian Mountains, the level of groundwater in the Narcissi Valley, the information on natural phenomena and other aspects are presented herewith. The volume provides complete information on the course of natural processes and interconnections within the CBR's ecosystems, the analysis of flora and fauna status, and influence of anthropogenic factors on the natural processes, as well as participation of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve in implementation of the international conventions that are in force in Ukraine, peculiarities natural resources management, eco-education, recreation and tourism activities, and operation of the Scientific-Technical and Coordination Councils of the reserve, etc. The materials of the Chronicles of Nature prepared by the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve can be used for assessing the status of environment, development of scientific recommendations and measures for protection and effective use of the natural resources, species of flora and fauna, for ensuring ecological safety, etc. Product Description popup.authors Anher Roman Ya.
