The purpose of the study is to improve methods of monitoring the course of physiotherapy procedures in ultrasound therapy (US) to improve patient safety. The subject of research is the development of principles for the construction of adaptive ultrasonic therapeutic devices. Research methods: The main theoretical provisions are based on the fundamental provisions of applied acoustics, probability theory and the basics of measurement theory. Elements of information theory of measurements, methods of statistical processing of experimental data were used for the theoretical analysis of mathematical models. The analysis of experimental research data was performed using the mathematical apparatus of regression analysis, as well as using computational methods of statistics in specialized programs. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is as follows: The idea of developing ultrasound devices for optimal control over the physiotherapy procedure, with additional temperature control of the condition of biological tissues (BT) to ensure the required level of patient safety, was further developed. Measurement of temperature values in the area of contact of the ultrasonic emitter with biological tissue is information about the degree of heating of BT during the procedure, which limits the value of ultrasound intensity, and hence the effect of this factor on the patient's biological tissues. The practical significance of the obtained results for medical instrumentation tools, which form approaches and recommendations for the development of adaptive ultrasound devices with biological feedback and their mathematical models.
