The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for safe work while reducing the isolated space, restoring the normal ventilation regime and creating safe working conditions in the mine workings of unit 7 of «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, methods mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, measures to eliminate the accident in the excavations of the excavation section 2 of the southern lava of block 7 of «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were analyzed. Recommendations for reducing the volume of isolated space of the emergency section 2 of the southern lava of block 7 of layer d4 of «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» have been developed. The degassing of insulated workings with the help of ВMП and reduction of the volume of isolated space has been agreed. It is recommended to carry out degassing in two stages in a certain sequence, provided that the developed recommendations are followed. The results of the implementation of developments – the application of the developed recommendations allowed to ensure gas safety during mining operations, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
