Research methods – methods of solid mechanics, fluid and gas mechanics, numerical modeling using the finite element method. As a result of the work, the analysis of the mining characteristics of the excavation section 2 of the southern lava of block 7 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» was carried out. The method of calculation of filtration parameters of the coal massif for the conditions of the excavation section 2 of the southern lava of block 7 is developed. The calculation of gas filtration parameters for the conditions of the excavation section 2 of the southern lava of block 7 Recommendations for determining the safe width of the insulating pole on the parameters of gas filtration from the produced space of the fire section 2 of the southern lava of block 7 to the excavation section 3 of the southern lava of block 7 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were developed.
