A system of categories, principles, methods and models that form the mechanism for assessing the fundamental capitalization of industrial enterprises. Purpose. To substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations of the fundamental capitalization of industrial enterprises. Research methods. Analysis and generalization for processing and systematization of information; statistical and analytical for establishment of correlation-regression dependencies and relationships; economic and mathematical modeling for linear, nonlinear and dynamic programming. Results. The theoretical and applied bases of enterprise capitalization are analyzed; the economic essence of the category "capitalization" is determined and the concepts concerning the development of industrial enterprises are analyzed; the directions ensuring the efficiency of enterprise capital management are investigated. Scientific novelty. For the first time a method of assessing the innovative perception of objects and processes of this base is presented, which allows to determine their priority in terms of investment. The mechanism of management of the incentive fund of employees of the mining enterprise has been improved and the issue of investing in human capital of the enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex has been further developed. Practical significance: the main provisions of the research have been brought to the level of specific methods and proposals regarding the investment and innovation policy of project management support of the mineral resources base of the plants and the mechanism of employee motivation for them. The results are used in the educational process of KNU at preparation of experts of a specialty 051 "Economics" and engineers on separate specializations.
