(Hymenoptera, Melittidae) of the world fauna was revised. The key diagnostic characters of the ultrastructure of these bees, which were not previously involved in morphological analysis, were studied. Six new species have been described as new for science, including two cryptic species, one of which has a wide transpalearctic range. A revision of European bee fauna was provided, as a result of which 86 species were added to the Red List of Wild Bees of Europe, and two subgenera were raised to the status of genera (Seladonia and Vestitohalictus). As a result of studying the collection materials, fourteen new species of bees were registered from Iran for the first time. Eleven new species were described and 36 species were recorded from Ukraine for the first time as a result of inventory of biodiversity of gelechiid-moths and Pyraloidea of Ukraine. The study of taxonomy and biodiversity of Gelechiidae of Old World resulted in descriptions of 50 new species and one new genus. The keys for identification of species based on genitalia and external characters have been provided. The tribe Microgastrini (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) of Ukraine was revised and the host-parasitic relationships of Microgastrini and Apantelini were analized. An annotated checklist of the braconid wasps of the tribes Microgastrini and Apantelini of Ukraine was compiled. Nineteen species from eight genera were recorded from Ukraine for the first time. A revision of the sensory and mechanical functions of the femoral chordotonal organ in beetles (Insecta, Coleoptera) was carried out, and a model of the amplifier of the turns was proposed. The obtained functional morphological data can be used in engineering of creating stepper mechanisms. The functional morphology of the sting apparatus in the representatives of the superfamily Pompiloidea (Hymenoptera, Aculeata) was studied. A number of new morphological structures, previously unknown for the hymenopteran, was described.
