Due to the introduction of innovations, active technological modernization is taking place in banking institutions. Particularly relevant are those innovations that relate to remote banking, risk management, improvement of information and computer technology. However, most Ukrainian banks understand innovation management as solving current problems, rejecting the quality of management that meets the international level and national needs of the banking business - increasing efficiency, competitiveness, ensuring stability in banking institutions and strengthening their influence on innovation in the economy. Under such conditions, research on theoretical and practical issues of sound economic efficiency of banks' innovation activities aimed at increasing profitability at the accepted rate of risk, as well as the formation of strategies for innovative development of banks become important and urgent. The purpose of this study is the further development of theoretical provisions, development of methodological approaches and scientific and practical recommendations for the strategy of innovative development of the banking system in terms of integration of FinTech and decentralized economy. In accordance with the purpose of the study, the following main tasks are set: - to determine the prospects for the introduction of electronic money in the global digitalization of the domestic economy; - substantiate the directions of optimization of income and expenses of the bank; - to investigate the risk-oriented approach in financial monitoring in the context of FinTech integration; - analyze the risks of the investment project and propose methods to minimize them; - to study the problems of development of banking innovations in Ukraine and to substantiate their directions; - and other.
