Research methods - mathematical and computer modeling, systems analysis using applied software, geometric modeling. The work is aimed at developing methods for modeling oil and gas facilities at different stages of the product life cycle; improvement of information support and intensification of innovation and project activities of branch organizations. A model of organization of project activities in the oil and gas industry based on CALS-ideology is proposed. Organizational and normative documents are studied, proposals on the necessary functionality of the information system are formulated. The geometrical features of the surfaces of equipment parts have been studied in order to propose changes in the technological processes of the oil and gas industry.
