Research methods: numerical simulation, photoluminescent analysis, low energy ionoluminescence, optical and electron microscopy, energy dispersion spectroscopy, microhardness measurements, electrical measurements, video recording. The paper describes the microstructure and phase chemical composition of a multicomponent alloy designed for the application of a protective wear-resistant coating using an axial electrothermal plasma accelerator. The optical characteristics of ultra-dispersed ZnO-based systems obtained by various physical methods are presented. The physical regularities of plasma formations using a pulsed plasmotron have been studied and described. The mathematical analysis of the process of diffusion of solid particles by thermal and concentration convection from different sources of environmental pollution is presented.
