Calculations were made on the basis of the data provided by the mine, the technical characteristics of the equipment used, information on the mining-geological and mining-technical operating conditions of the projected excavation areas, the existing experience of longwall operation in similar conditions. For these operating conditions, based on the analysis and generalization of the data obtained, technical solutions have been developed taking into account the actual operating conditions of operation and the presence of influencing technological factors.
