Research methods: theoretical substantiation of the possibility of using aerogels (pyrogels) to ensure long-term payload of the aircraft, built on the principle of both a complete thermoplane and a hybrid (using additional balloons with light gas (eg, He)). Used original research equipment based on universal machines, in particular, the universal vacuum station VUP-5, as well as the bursting machine UME-10TM, equipped with specialized electronic means of continuous data collection on thermobaric loads of the studied samples. Research results. It is established that the thermal conductivity of the investigated materials in general corresponds to the declared characteristics, with a tendency of insignificant decrease within 100 hours. tests (not more than 3-4%), with recovery after the start of a new series. The material PIROGEL DALIAN (PIROGEL XT) had the most scattered parameters (, W / (m ∙ K), had a difference for 10 samples of more than 18%, and mass-weight characteristics differed for samples equal in size by more than 14%) , and PYROGEL 6650 showed the most stable results close to the declared ones. Compared to the stated characteristics, AEROGEL ASPEN showed maximum strength characteristics, in particular 0.12 MPa. It also requires additional study of the issue of mass recovery after the operation of the aerorgel (pyrogel) in operating conditions.
