Irradiation of Hall sensors in the reactor VVR-M of the Institute of Nuclear Research of NASU. Measurement of the parameters of irradiated sensors on the stand TI-4 demonstrated their radiation resistance. A set of design documentation for the manufacture of an experimental sample of a measuring system for monitoring the parameters of Hall sensors in nuclear reactors has been developed. An experimental sample of a measuring system for monitoring the parameters of Hall sensors in nuclear reactors, which consists of two functional parts: (i) radiation-resistant measuring probe using radiation-resistant Hall sensors based on nanofilm semiconductor materials InAs / i-GaAs and (ii) electronic unit of the secondary converter of signals of Hall sensors. The novelty of the manufactured measuring system lies in the possibility of on-line measurement of the parameters of Hall sensors in the process of neutron irradiation. Unlike traditional of-line methods of research of sensors after irradiation, at use of the developed system for measurement of parameters of sensors it is not necessary to expect decrease of the resulted radioactivity to background level. This allows the study of sensors to high fluences. The obtained result has international recognition and is important for the diagnostic of modern nuclear and thermonuclear reactors. The developed measuring system will allow selecting radiation-resistant magnetic field sensors for further use in magnetic diagnostic systems of next-generation thermonuclear reactors, which are actively developing in all developed countries and are designed to provide humanity with environmentally friendly and inexhaustible energy.   Product Description popup.authors Vasyliev Oleksandr V.
