Study objective – optimization of power supply system’s modes and optimal allocation of the automation devices in the networks with distributed generation. Study techniques – matrix method for electrical circuit's equivalents; genetic algorithms; simulation modeling methods and experimental investigations by using of Metrel MI 2885 Master Q4 S class power quality analyzer. A problem of the power supply systems energy efficiency as an important part of the modern electrical power engineering issues was considered. A tasks of the structural and parametric identification for generalized load equivalent circuit with renewable energy sources were decided by means of matrix method for electrical circuit's equivalents; a problem of the optimal allocation for automation devices in the distribution networks was solved by using of genetic algorithm. Equivalent circuits for generalized loads with renewable energy sources were determined in order to estimate the impact of electrical customers on the linear voltage distortion in the point of common coupling. An experimental investigations of the power quality indices on the operating wind energy station connected to the public supply grid were executed.
