The influence of aluminum on the phase composition, structure and mechanical properties of TiAl intermetallic alloys was analyzed. It has been shown that alloys with a lower aluminum concentration are more brittle at low temperatures but have a higher viscous-brittle transition temperature. Above this temperature, they are hardening much faster than alloys with a higher aluminum concentration. On bainitic iron, the maximum TRIP effect is observed at tempering temperatures of 330-350 С. Samples hardedinig at these temperatures exhibit the best fatigue resistance, minimal wear and increased tendency to damp. Product Description popup.authors Yevich Yan I.
