Purpose: To determine the level of effectiveness of explanatory and communication work on the processes of Euro-Atlantic and European integration among the residents of the capital and the features of immersion of Kiev (based on self-assessments of the level of knowledge about the activities and structure of the EU and NATO) in the information space about the processes of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Result of the works: data of sociological survey of the public of the capital in the context of peculiarities of immersion of Kiev in the information space on the processes of European and Euro-Atlantic integration; an assessment of the level of need for additional knowledge of the people of Kiev in general, based on an array of interviewed people of Kiev and through the prism of different levels of available knowledge regarding the international organizations representing these structures; the dynamics of EU and NATO relations in recent years; identified the most significant levers of forming in Kiev the ideas about these international organizations and the level of trust of the people of different information sources; the criteria for the level of trust in information in the media in general and in the context of dissemination of information on the EU and NATO in particular; identified priority issues in the information campaign on European and Euro-Atlantic integration; Changes in the attitude of Kyiv to the foreign policy of Ukraine - movement to the EU and NATO in the dynamics of 2006-2019 are analyzed.
