The purpose of the work is to study the problems of achieving a secure level of socio-economic development, to develop a model of social development taking into account environmental, social and economic components, to determine the prospects for Ukraine's development in the context of globalization. Research methods. To achieve this goal used a set of general and special methods of scientific knowledge, in particular: abstract-logical; dialectical, historical-logical, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. Theoretical and methodological principles of socio-economic development of the country and real problems of Ukraine's economy in modern crisis phenomena using the proposed methodological approach, which is based on the transformation of forms of socio-economic development of society. An eco-socio-economic model of social development is proposed, which is based on a combination of theories of sustainable development, syndication and systems development. The model of food security of Ukraine is formed, which is based on the integration combination of the principles of autarky, dynamic and innovative models of food security of the country. A methodical approach is proposed that provides balanced and safe development by changing the model of consumption of goods and services (model of ethical consumption) and resources (model of circular economy). The social policy of Ukraine is studied from the standpoint of human development, which allowed to define the capital of health as a system of socio-economic relations of the subjects on the accumulation of labor abilities and skills of investment behavior. Strategic factors influencing employment in the domestic agricultural sector are substantiated, which is primarily due to the immobility of certain agricultural resources.
