As a result of the work, the technical documentation for the development of the 19th eastern lava of the C11 formation of the SE «Mine named after M.S. Surgaya». The calculation of the degassing efficiency and the air flow required for ventilation of the excavation section 19 of the eastern lava of the formation C11 is performed. The “Conclusion on the possibility of working out the excavation section of the 19th eastern lava of the C11 formation of the SE «Mine named after M.S. Surgaya» without the use of degassing by wells. "Based on studies of the sources of actual methane emissions within and outside the excavation section 19 of the eastern lava of formation C11, evaluation of the efficiency of isolated methane removal from the roof of the developed formation C11 by uncontrolled conveyor production 21 of the eastern lava of formation C13 (gas collection the efficiency of soil degassing and the performed calculations show the possibility of working off 19 of the eastern lava of the formation C11 without the use of degassing by wells, subject to the implementation of the developed recommendations for gas safety.
